Director, Digital Marketing & Ops

Location: US Remote – EST Preferred

You’ll be the trusted SME on all things digital, demand, and delivering leads that lead to real sales opportunities.  You will work daily with teams across Europe and North America, and have a lot of fun doing it.

About the Role

As our full-time lead responsible for digital marketing, programs and ops reporting to our head of marketing, your mission will be:

   Global marketing strategy – contribute for your function and by engaging across marketing, business development, sales, product, and partner teams (jGTM), and with agencies looking after PR and web design. 

   Integrated campaigns – Create, manage, and measure full-funnel, going corporate/global in reach, and regional in relevance. You will develop plans, propose budget, and manage execution and expectation. 

   Partnering with business development and SDRs  – List acquisition, segmentation, nurture, and hygiene, and on tracking across the funnel. You’ll ensure we’re meeting targets in terms of both quantity and quality. 

   Managing marketing programs – Their execution, including competitive takeouts, ABM, events, and ensuring our messaging is correctly tuned to the channel and targeted audience for the tactic. 

   Managing social and web posting – Scheduling and integrating into campaigns, you’ll also support efforts on asset development. 

   Being the martech ops lead  – Work with vendors, use the systems for execution and measurement, and create and manage dashboards and reports. 

   Wearing more hats – Yes – we are a startup. We all wear a lot of hats. So on occasion, you will too.


About You

You are a deliverable-data-driven, martech guru.

You bring solid project management and communication skills with a good balance between the logical/practical and creativity, and between the strategic and tactical.  You have a strong eye for detail and while you understand the need to deliver … you still keep an eye and appreciation for quality.

It is important that you understand industry best practices and benchmarks in digital marketing with the experience and wisdom to know the difference. You can rattle off the latest conversion rates per channel and region because you read this stuff for fun.  Yet you also have strong startup DNA, with the out-of-box flex, drive and interest to go hands-on and just own it.  You are fine same-day shifting between contributing to next year’s budget, and then reviewing and marking layout changes on an asset.

Bottom line? You charge your batteries by making a direct, measurable impact on the business.


   Minimum 5-7 years experience at manager-level – in established company in digital marketing with responsibility for planning, budgeting, contracting, and quarterly reporting. 

⊕    Startup, growth-hack experience – with a rolodex of agencies, firms and providers you can call on to make things happen fast – and know the market value of those services. 

    All the things listed in the role – especially owning the stack, in particular, Hubspot, SFDC, WordPress, social management tools, and reporting. 

   Experience managing vendors and contracts – from the logistics of both physical and virtual events to managing demand gen programs with analyst firms, media outlets and partner organizations (jGTM) 

   Excel at working closely and successfully with sales – while maintaining a strategic marketing perspective for the customer (product marketing) and the market (corporate marketing).

   Experience and joy in working with international teams … in global, regional markets.
