We recently attended the International Biometric Performance Testing Conference 2016 in Gaithersburg, Maryland, an event designed to identify new and effective performance metrics and best practices for biometric technology. The focus this year was on refining the concept of biometric performance, reflecting on what’s changed since biometrics hit the mainstream, and outlining what will be needed in the future.

The conference was hosted by NIST, the US National Institute of Standards and Technology, whose mission is to promote innovation and industrial competitiveness in the US by advancing measurement science, standards and technology in economically efficient and secure ways.

Our CEO Neil Costigan spoke at the event, showing how BehavioSec’s behavioral biometric technology can help organizations and companies meet the security challenges of an always-connected world.
