Sr. Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist


Location: US – REMOTE

This is a unique B2B opportunity that requires the relevant work experience and understanding of the B2B enterprise, high tech company and marketing strategy planning associated with the role. It is also your chance to get into an established startup, own the Martech stack and digital marketing functions, grow your career, and showcase your talent with a company in a growing area that’s entering the ‘bowling alley’.

You’ll be the trusted SME on Marketing Operations and all things digital, marketing operations demand – that delivers leads that lead to real sales opportunities.  You will work daily with teams across North America and Europe, and have a lot of fun doing it.

The Role

As our full-time Sr. Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist, you play marketer, maestro and modeler, a winning mix to put marketing efforts at the leading edge. You will be exemplary in digital demand gen, lead conversion, pipeline, automation, funnel management, and conversion rate optimization. Your mission will include:

   Martech Ops Lead  - Configure/manage hands-on and day-to-day work with vendors, use the systems for execution and measurement, ensure database integrity, and compliance, and create and manage dashboards and reports.

    Global Marketing Operations – Represent your marketing discipline by engaging across marketing functions, business development, sales, product, and partner teams and with external agencies.

   Operational Excellence – Manage the processes, infrastructure, and best practices for operational activities that improve marketing visibility and sales/marketing integration.

   Drive conversions –Streamline, automate and improve lead nurture based on consumer behavior increasing leads and conversion rates.

    Integrated Campaigns - Build, manage, and measure digital campaigns, global in reach, and regional in relevance. You will manage execution,  expectations and measurement. 

    Key Touch Point with Business Development and SDRs  - Prospect acquisition, segmentation, nurture, and hygiene, and tracking across the funnel. You’ll ensure we’re meeting targets in terms of both quantity and quality.

    Managing Marketing Programs - Their execution, including ABM,  segmentation, personalization, measurement and analysis.

    Hands-on managing the stack,  in particular, Hubspot, SFDC, WordPress, social management tools, and reporting.  This is not an ‘outsource-only’ ops role.  We’re bringing skills in-house!

    Managing Social & Web Posting - Scheduling and integrating into campaigns, calendar management and/or support efforts on asset production internally and externally, such as layout, video hosting, image sourcing, copywriting review etc.

CRM Growth Strategy, Sales Reporting and Analytical Planning – Funnel Management, Reporting, target growth strategy and marketing integration

Layout and Design – Marketing operations star that can also support in foundational design and layout

   Minimum 5 years Experience related role in B2B – and established in operations and digital marketing with responsibility for planning, contracting, and reporting.  You need to know best practices for where we are … and … where we are going.

   Startup, growth-hack experience  - with a Rolodex of agencies, firms, and providers you can call on to make things happen fast when we do outsource – and you know the market value of those services.

    Experience Managing Vendors and Contract Management - from the logistics of both physical and virtual events to managing demand generation programs with analyst firms, media outlets and partner organizations (GTM).  Post mortem reporting on all event activities for ROI, acquisition and engagement.

   Cross Channel Sales and Marketing Collaboration – Maintain a balanced, strategic marketing perspective for the customer (product marketing), and for the markets we serve  (field marketing). You’ll be supporting digital execution for all perspectives – globally and regionally to achieve and maintain sales funnel and drive conversion metrics set by the organization.

   Agile and Adaptable –  Yes – we are in scale-up mode. We all wear a lot of hats. So on occasion, you will too be fluid in a changing environment.

 

About You

You are a deliverable-data-driven, martech guru. You love all things digital. You bring solid project management and communication skills with a good balance between the logical/practical and creativity, and between the strategic and tactical.

You have a strong eye for detail and while you understand the need to deliver ‘good’ versus wait for perfection … you still keep a close eye on, and appreciation for, quality. You will often be the last set of eyes before things go out the door.

You understand and adopt industry best practices and benchmarks in digital marketing with the experience and wisdom to know the difference. You can rattle off the latest conversion rates per channel and persona/role because you read this stuff for fun. Yet you also have strong startup DNA, with the out-of-box flex, drive, and interest to go hands-on and just own it. You are fine same-day shifting between contributing to next year’s budget, and then reviewing and marking layout changes on an asset.

Bottom line? You charge your batteries by making a direct, measurable impact on the business every day.
